Cortas Mohalabia (Rice Pudding)

Mohalabia, an iconic Lebanese dessert recipe, has been around since the 10th century. It is renowned in Lebanon, often served chilled and decorated with nuts.

Ingredients, sugar, rice, natural vanillin flavour, creamy vanilla.

Directions: In a saucepan, dissolve the contents of the pack in 4 cups (800ml) milk. Put on medium heat and stir constantly until boiling. Once the desired consistency is reached, take off the heat and stir in 1 tsp of rose water and/or orange blossom water. Transfer to dessert bowls and allow to cool. Serve chilled garnished with nuts, jam or syrup.
